Tehmina A. Chaudhry is the Founder & CEO of Insta Startups, as well as the Founder & President of the Canada Startup Association, with a clear mission: reduce barriers, build bridges, and empower founders, especially equity-deserving, newcomer, and women entrepreneurs to succeed in Canada and globally. 

With over 20 years of experience in business strategy, leadership, and startup growth, Tehmina has launched and scaled her own social enterprise, INSTA Foods, from Pakistan to Canada. She is deeply familiar with the challenges of cross-border expansion, early-stage venture development, and inclusive growth. 

Her role with the Canada Startup Association underscores her commitment to building the ecosystem: as President, she champions inclusive innovation, mentorship, advocacy, and strategic partnerships. She works to bring together stakeholders across government, capital, incubators/accelerators, and founders to coalesce around growth-focused agendas that make the Canadian startup ecosystem more accessible and equitable. She is especially focused on reducing entry barriers for women, newcomers, and underserved communities. 

Before stepping fully into consulting and ecosystem building, Tehmina mentored and advised in multiple sectors, helping startups with go-to-market strategy, digital validation, business model refinement, and operational scaling. Her strategic insight, ability to identify high potential, and hands-on approach have helped numerous early ventures navigate the challenges of launching and growing in changing global and digital landscapes.
